Yohji Yamamoto: Menswear Spring 2012

and this is the full version of the fashion show (sort of..)

Yohji Yamamoto always mesmerized me with his collections. And for his Menswear Spring 2012 collection, he mesmerized me not only with his designs (like always) but also with the guys on the runway. He was not only using the real male models but also some regular guys in his fashion show. I know he's not the only one who ever used regular guys to walk on the runway but (for me!) still his is the best. Especially that little japanese old man, seriously he stole my heart! Is he probably Yohji's relative? And you know what I like more about this fashion show? He used Dangdut as the counterpoint song during the fashion show. Should I be proud? :S

Drawing: Kansas

I got a message from someone on my tumblr and it said that he likes my blog. So I visited his and I saw his own website page so I clicked it. So this guy's name is Evan Borges and he's a young talented photographer. The website shows all the photos that he captured and all his photoworks are awesome! There was one photo in Portraits page that really caught my eyes. It's so beautiful. And I thought "Okay, I should draw this." so I messaged him and asked him a permission to draw one of his photos and his response was surprisingly positive! He allowed me to draw it and even he offered me to send the photo to my email. He told me that this is the first time anyone has ever wanted to draw a picture of his (as I quoted from the email he sent to me). So I've finished it and this is it! I hope I won't disappoint him. I still have to learn a lot so.. seriously, my fingers are crossed very tightly. I really hope he's gonna like it.

So guys, if you're curious about his photoworks, just take a look at Evan Borges Photography , or his Flickr or just follow his Tumblr

Smile

This is my most favourite song ever! And Madeleine Peyroux even makes it more perfect! I genuinely love Nat King Cole's version. He's my favourite no matter what. Nat King Cole always successfully brings me back to my childhood moments. But her version somehow brings me to a strange place. It brings me to my imagination of my other version of life that I might choose to live. Sounds weird I know.
